AI Workflows: Automate Project Management & Eliminate Busywork | Motion

Turn Ideas Into Action—Instantly.

Motion's AI Workflows Builder automates project creation, task delegation, and scheduling from any idea—giving your team more time to focus, execute, and ship faster.

• Upload your own files, write any prompt in your own words, or embed notes from Motion's AI Docs. Then, Motion's AI Workflows Builder will create a project that fits exactly what your team needs in seconds.

Examples include: "How do we onboard a new hire" or "Steps to launch a marketing campaign" or "Develop a launch plan for our new API integration."

• Motion reads your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and generates a complete project with auto-filled tasks, deadlines, and auto-assigned individuals according to their role, team, and capacity.

• Start projects with one click and watch Motion's AI Task Manager delegate tasks based on availability, priority, and role so no deadlines are missed. No more scheduling kick-off meetings or managing project handoffs.

• Reuse project templates and launch the same workflow instantly. Stop wasting time creating the same project over and over again.

No more missing tasks or incomplete projects.

Motion's AI Workflows Builder turns your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into smarter, faster workflows—and catches what you didn't.

Motion identifies missing tasks based on templates, projects, and docs and makes suggestions when teams and responsibilities change.

• Motion checks everything so you don’t have to. It compares your SOPs against similar projects, templates, and docs across your entire workspace to spot missing steps and ensure nothing important gets left out.

• Motion's AI Workflows Builder automatically completes routine tasks for you like scheduling handoffs, setting reminders, or tagging stakeholders so your team can complete complex projects in less time.

• Motion doesn’t just create tasks—it auto-schedules them on your team's calendars based on real-time capacity, deadlines, and priorities.

• Every task is assigned to the right person at the right time, so responsibilities are always clear and nothing slips through the cracks.

The only AI tool that actually drives your projects forward.

Combining Motion’s AI Workflows Builder, AI Docs, and AI Project Manager saves teams 10+ hours/week (often more) of coordination and manual busywork.

• Start from an AI-generated template or build your own from a prompt—then customize it to match how your team actually works.

• Easily edit tasks, timelines, and roles at any time. Motion takes care of the manual reshuffling and automatically reassigns the work, updates schedules, and adjusts plans based on real-time changes.

• Use Motion's AI Task Manager to auto-schedule your team's tasks based on hundreds of datapoints like deadlines, priorities, durations, and dependencies. No more wasting time thinking about what to work on next.

• Then, count on Motion's AI Project Manager to share project timelines you can trust. Motion updates deadlines live based on actual capacity and proactively flags risks and delays early so you're always one step ahead.
